Hi I am Eleanor, one of the Sports and Exercise Therapists here at Cathedral Osteopaths.
I graduated from Leeds Beckett University with a First Class degree in Sports and Exercise Therapy in 2022 and joined the Clinic shortly after. My previous experience focused more in Sports Trauma and within Football/Rugby, mainly working with Bradford Park Avenue as well a few others such as Leeds United Women's.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family, hiking, paddle boarding and kayaking; my partner is military based and we share our 1 year old daughter and 2 mischievous cats together.
I also enjoy open-water swimming, running and cycling, which I also used to coach! -After previously competing in triathlon, I now tend to enjoy each discipline more individually and on a much less competitive basis.
I became a Sports and Exercise Therapist because I’ve always been fascinated by rehabilitation, sports psychology, and the connection between the two. Sports Therapy allows me to bring those interests together and make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.I believe no one should have to simply accept pain or injury and “just live with it.” Everyone — not just athletes or sporty people — has the ability to recover from injury and feel better than before. Pain makes life miserable, and life is far too short to spend it that way. If there’s a way to resolve your pain, why not try?
I truly love what I do. I’m passionate about helping people reclaim their lives after injury, getting them out of pain and back to living fully. Seeing someone move from feeling limited and held back to feeling confident, capable, and free in their body again is exactly why I do this work. If I can help someone reach that point, then I’ve done what I set out to do.
Hi! My name is Josh, and I’m a Sports and Exercise Therapist here at Cathedral Osteopaths. My passion for Sports Therapy originated from my own experiences as a semi-professional futsal and football athlete. I understand the frustration of feeling held back by an injury, whether it's affecting your everyday life or preventing you from performing at your best!
I work with athletes of varying abilities— from beginners to professionals— as well as individuals who may not consider themselves sporty. Whether it's walking the dog, gardening, or preparing for a marathon, I am committed to getting you back to doing the things you love most!
Originally from Watford, I spent seven years in Germany before moving to Leeds, where I studied Sports and Exercise Therapy at Leeds Beckett University and graduated in 2024. Whilst at university, I worked part-time in construction and completed my placement at Cathedral Osteopaths, joining the team just a week after graduation!
In my first year here, I qualified as an IDD therapist in July, Shockwave Therapist in November and did my Dry Needling training in January. As a musculoskeletal therapist I am trained to recognise, manage, treat as well as prevent Musculo-skeletal problems
Some of the problems I commonly help people with are (but are not limited to) plantar fasciitis, achilles tendinopathy, tennis/golfer's elbow, frozen shoulder, rotator cuff tears, shoulder tendonitis, shoulder or hip bursitis and osteoarthritis. Whatever your injury may be, my knowledge and experience will guide and motivate you through your recovery so you can return to the activities you love and be even better than before!
Outside of the clinic, I enjoy learning new things, playing football, guitar and piano, playing padel tennis and going to the gym.
I look forward to supporting and guiding you through every step of your recovery and keeping you at your best!
